Our hotel was in a favourable location down to local bars. We stopped by The Donut Nest for coffee and treats, it was a 10-15 minute walk from the property. The single room was reasonably spacious with adequate space...

The hotel's bar and restaurant have terraces with an unforgettable view, like a scene straight out of an opera. Hotel Merano even offers guided tours and boat trips for guests, because apparently, relaxing by the lake isn't enough.
I just can't understand why they didn't offer helicopter rides to complete the experience.

This hotel exceeded all my expectations. The value for money was incredible – we got a room with its own "terrace" even though we had only booked a double room with a lake view. The attention to detail was impressive, from the clean and spacious rooms to the friendly and helpful staff. The location was perfect, with a private beach and stunning views of the lake. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options.
Nothing to complain.

We loved our stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious and started early enough for us to make it to our kiteboarding class. The hotel facilities, including the private beach and free bike rental, were fantastic. It was also conveniently located near the BeeKite kite school and easy to find.
Nothing all good.

The restaurant's food was good and they had a nice wine selection. The room had a comfortable bed. The location was close to a nice hiking trail.
The hotel was difficult to find and the road up to the hotel was very narrow. The room was quite small.

The hotel location is fantastic with beautiful views of the mountains and the lake. We loved the private beach, it was quiet and relaxing for a swim and sunbathing. the staff were friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast which had a good variety of food.
The WiFi was slow and paid, which was inconvenient. Our room was a bit small and cramped for our liking, but it was clean and comfortable.

The decoration of the hotel is absolutely charming, with beautiful traditional Italian touches that made me feel right at home. The general areas of the hotel were easily accessible for senior people like myself, with wide corridors and comfortable seating areas. I also appreciated that there were elevators available, making it easy for me to move around without any difficulties.
It would have been even better if there were more activities or amenities specifically tailored for senior guests. Perhaps some gentle exercise classes or organized outings would have made the vacation even more enjoyable for us older folks.

I recently had a very pleasant stay at a family-run hotel by the lake. The prices were incredibly reasonable, especially considering the amazing lake view from the terrace during breakfast. The hotel staff were friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. The rooms, though small, were clean and well-maintained, with a touch of attention to detail. I also appreciated the option of having a room with its own terrace, perfect for enjoying the beautiful surroundings.
No major issues, everything was satisfactory.
